‘Desirable Digitalisation: Rethinking AI for Just and Sustainable Futures’ is a collaborative research programme between the Universities of Cambridge and Bonn funded by Stiftung Mercator that will explore how to design AI (artificial intelligence) and other digital technologies in a responsible way, prioritising the questions of social justice and environmental sustainability.
The formal kick-off of the 5-year research programme will take place on 23 September, 2022.
